AJ still needs more experience and rounds in my opinion. He's definitely got a tremendous degree of potential.
Bit too early to get so exited, OP. Joshua has a few things going for him (impressive victory last night, btw), but we need to see him against serious opponents. Still he's got potential and is a true breath of fresh air in the division.
Boxing fans are so confusing. This is heavyweight boxing. I thought you guys didn't like movement(Mayweather) and wanted guys to stand toe to toe. I don't know if I would say Joshua is stiff or robotic as much as I would just say he's always under control. He's never off balance. He doesn't throw wild punches. He's basic/fundamentally sound like Tim Duncan in the NBA. No flashiness or anything that is eyepopping in his boxing style. Now this can make him predictable but it also means that he will take punches well. If you feet are always under you and balanced you can absorb shots better. The only time he has gotten out of character was against Dillian Whyte and they have a hatred for one another that extends outside of boxing. This honestly reminds me of what Mayweather said about GGG. Said he was a straight up and down/basic figher. GGG also doesn't move his head and walks through punches
its funny whenever a guy gets a good rep for great power he gets a lot of haters, power is so often denied as it can be sometimes nullified by great boxing. AJ could go far, if he keeps passing drug tests he is going to be tough to beat :rasta
that's actually a very good point Herol :good why do you keep stalking my threads when you're aware you're ignoring me? :rasta how confused are you when it comes to ignoring others p.s. little tip, try not to reply this time Herol :deal
