hasnt had a fight in about 8 months and has none in line. the ring stripped him for poor level of competition and to my knowledge( my be wrong) but he hasnt faced a mandatory since Bellew two and a half year ago and he is becoming a joke

with all the talent at 175 are the wbc going to try to regain some credibility after a lot of decisions which hurt there image and strip stevenson or force him to face a decent opponent?

I'm confused here. People say the WBC lets Canelo hold his title because he brings in money. But what money does Stevenson bring in?

no idea, he does sell well in canada i believe, in fairness the wbc bent over backward to allow wilder a ton of volontaries when povetkin, joshua, wlad, fury ect all bring in way more money

Stevenson is a joke, he has no intention of ever fighting Kovalev or Ward, in fact I think he never will.

Kovalev was his mandatory but refused to show up to purse bids or make the fight, so it would look pretty bad for the WBC to punish Stevenson for that. He'll probably have to fight Eleider Alvarez, as he's the next in line.

that wasnt a mandatory in the traditional sense and anyway even if that happens another mandatory should be enforced soon

It's a bit weird, I'd think they would want some sanctioning fees at least.

While it was correct that it's rare for guys holding other belts to be named mandatories, that was exactly what the WBC did for Kovalev. The fact that his team ultimately did not want the fight after being granted the mandatory status is again no reason to punish Stevenson.

No, he doesn't even sell in Quebec. He fought the last time in Toronto and will do the same next time since he is ****ed off about the critiscm related to his ducking job in Quebec. As in Quebec, 3000 fans came to his Toronto fight and so, start threatening about fight in China. Go ahead little ******, I'm pretty sure they don't know and don't give a **** about you in China. He became a joke.

He should just quit ducking Professor Hopkins already, get schooled & cash out. There won't be a better chance for him to do so without ending up lain out, KTFO ice cold in humiliating fashion.
