Pacquiao-Bradley 3 Scorecards?

i watched it pacman won, the scorecards were about right. a lot of the rounds were close but after then knock downs pacman seemed to take over a bit more.

he still didnt look impressive and looks to have regressed a good bit imo, cant really pull the trigger anymore. later in the fight there was flashes of the old manny but overall a mediocre performance

 

Without knockdowns I saw it 7-5 for Pacman. I didn't think the first one was a knockdown, so 115-112 for Pacman would be fair.

The first 6 rounds were competitive and I had the fight scored even or leaning towards Bradley. After round 6, the fight became 1 sided. Not from Bradleys lack of work, simply because Pacquaio became much more active, actually pulled the trigger and landed effectively with his counters.

If Pacquaio hadn't scored the knockdowns and Bradley managed to box like he was for 1 more round, the fight would have been close on the cards.

I write fights down rbr taking into account ring generalship, output, landing and overall effectiveness.

Bradley did a great job for the first half of the fight, unfortunately, he is a hot head and doesn't deal well with mental shifts inside of the ring.

Regardless of the win and performance of Pacquiao, he lacked the spark that used to have. I don't like to sound like the 'broken records' but Marquez took the old Pacquiao away. He has been a champion to come back the way he has since that knock out, but he has never been the same.

Against a fighter like Bradley, Pacquiao used to engage at will, head first with his gun as his shield. Since that Pacquiao is no longer there, I have absolutely no problem with him retiring at this stage of his career.

A hell of a fighter, who has one legacy that many will remember. He may not have been undefeated, he may not have had the best defence, but he was definitely the fighter for the fans. I believe during my lifetime, his style will not be replicated.

 

Pacquiao won rounds 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 12. Bradley won 2, 3, 8, and 11.

Close rounds that were close, but I gave to Bradley (he squeaked them out), were 2 and 3.

Slow first four rounds, then action picked up with Pac taking over. Kinda like Pac/Bradley II + knockdowns.

 

I had it 115-111, but 116-110 wasn't unreasonable.

The knockdowns changed 2 10-9 Bradley rounds to 2 10-8 Pac rounds, so could feasibly have been a draw on the judges cards if Timmy could have thought a bit more clearly in there. Pac a deserved winner in the end though.

I had it at 7-5 Pac, I believe. Or 6-6 (deleted the text file).
Thing is Bradley was winning the rounds that he got KD'd. So had those KD's hadn't happened, it would've easily been 7-5 in his favor at least.

 

So your score iscloser than everyone elses and then you start saying about if the knockdowns didnt happen

Anyway, Pacquiao won the fight clearly just like the first 2. This was one of the more useless trilogies in boxing history even though Bradley is a great fighter.

 

First knockdown looks weird but the replay clearly showed Pacman landed a wicked right hook to Bradley's jaw.

It was a legit knokdown.
