Wlad was a new breed of super heavyweight with skills but what makes him stand out is longevity and consistency.

Wlad made a style adjustment and really worked on his defense, stamina, and footwork. The result was he went the longest amount of time of ANY heavyweight champion without being knocked down.

All time jab, right cross, and a very powerful left hook. Very good speed. Very good size.

30 years from now, when the old timer fan base leaves us, Wlad will rightly be seen as better than pretty much anyone pre Ali.

As a fan of his, I wanted to see him face Oliver McCall ( Who's still active ) just so I can say Wlad 2-0 vs Rhaman and McCall, Lewis 2-2 vs the same people

 

If you are talking H2H of course he is better than anyone pre Ali.

If you are talking about accomplishments I dont see his legacy surpassing Joe Louis for example.

Anyway Im glad Tyson Fury pushed Wlads boring ass aside
