I hate this guy for claiming that he should have received credit for hurting Glazkov, although he connected 0 punches which may have lead to this injury. Saying that "if it was me, I would have fought" proves that this guy is a bad and somewhat delusional person.

I'm glad to see him KTFOed.

Sports massage or deep tissue massage by the looks of it. While it does hurt, Martin was way over the top with histrionics. My dad who's in his mid 80's had a deep tissue massage recently and made less of a fuss than Martin.

Removing him from his paper belt was easier than separating sweets from a three year old. Prince of clowns and frauds. Audley Harrison would ko this bum.

Martin seems like a very likable chap and I feel a bit sorry for him. However, one thing that did strike me about him during interviews, and I watched quite a few of his, a lot more than I did of his actual fights, was that I got the impression that he thought boxing at this level is a lot easier than it actually is. Some of the things he said made him sound naive and delusional. He got a rude awakening on Saturday night and you could see the reality of it dawned on him within seconds of the first bell. There was a look of concern and confusion etched across his face as soon as Joshua set about him and he looked completely clueless. The mistake he made that lead to him getting dropped on his ass were terribly amateurish. He pawed out a useless jab and left himself wide open to the straight right and he made exactly the same mistake for both KDs IIRC.

Yes. I seriously wonder if some of Martins fights were fixed. He looked like a bottom shelf tomato can in there. No technique or punch resistance.

His technique is very poor but to be fair Joshua hits very hard and those shots would've had the same effect on a lot of HWs.

Well it happens when you have never felt anything like that. This is why fighters need to step up at one point, Martin never really did.
Brandon Rios got smacked around during one of his early fights(hit the canvas twice) and then went on to be one of the thoughest fighters out there.

I'm still shaking my head at all the guys on this board who were "nervous" when Joshua agreed to fight Martin, feeling it was "too soon."

Jesus. Anthony Joshua is going to be fighting for a very long time. He'll never have an easier fight with a title on the line than he had Saturday.

Charles Martin was arguably the worst heavyweight champion ever. He had no business with belt. Fury never should've been stripped. And Martin did nothing to win it other than lasting long enough for Glazkov to twist his knee.

For however long he remains in the sport, Martin is going to be cannon fodder for every rising heavyweight who wants a "former champ's" name on his record. He's going to get pummeled from here on out, unless he goes back to fighting nobodies on YouTube.

And everyone who thought Joshua "shouldn't" take the fight needs to get their heads out of their @sses.

One thing i will say about Martin is that was a fantastic two in one fancy dress outfit. Not only did he pretend to be a royal but he also pretended to be a boxer.

They must have ran out of space cadet costumes.

Martins looked extremely slow against joshua, joshua isnt blisteringly fast either.

the smoothness and speed theory went out the window in the 1st 20seconds lol
