    Seems to be happening.

If both get by their next "opponent" (Briggs is now on Haye's undercard), it's allegedly on. Could this be the end of Let's Go Champ?

I seriously worry for Briggs's health at this point. He's likely to get beaten like a pinata. :ko

It's fairly unlikely, but I would love to see Briggs surprise everyone and beat Haye. Then he becomes a legit contender and actually can face a real champ. And, at the same time, pops the Haye mythology, that he is some kind of great champion in recess who would beat everyone except maybe a belt holder.

It's finally looking like BRIGGS could actually earn himself a legitimate title shot (and become a worthwhile voluntary) here. By dispatching just one more hapless no hoper, he gets to fight Haye. If he beats Haye, then he would have finally gained himself a meaningful win that's recent... especially compared to the type of opponents he's been "fighting" post-Vitali.

Hypothetically speaking... should Wlad win against Fury and Briggs actually pulls off a win against Haye, we could then see that fight happen without much of a cloud of ridicule over it now.

Boxing sure is interesting. We'll see how it all unfolds. I think Haye's going to be a very heavy favorite, but BRIGGS winning would be very, very interesting.

It's a mismatch. Haye is too fast.

A few years ago, this would be a pick em type of fight.

Briggs is too old. The real question is, will Haye just do enough to win a round, with a safety first type fo mentality.

Yeah, he's fast. But he's also very explosive. And BRIGGS is very easy to hit!

Prediction? Pain. I don't see it going the distance either way.

Briggs hasn't beaten anyone half decent EVER. He talks a great game. But his best win is against a 48 year old George Foreman. People need reminding of his record.

His hw resume is better than Haye's:
    Best win:

Briggs: Debatable win over old ATG in Foreman
Haye: Debatable win over old, non ATG Valuev

    2nd Best win:
Briggs: Decisive ko in match he was struggling in against a belt holding top 5-10 hw, White Wolf
Haye: Decisive ko in match he was struggling in against a non blet holding fringe top 10 hw in Chisora.

Liakhovich was a good win, arguably better than the ancient Foreman Briggs fought. Briggs was pretty fortunate to win both fights however.

Briggs has a punchers chance, but that's about it. The best thing about this fight is that one of these two clowns is very likely to get KTFOd into retirement.
