that's true. close enough. Yeah, cell phones weren't too prevalent in '95.

Actually the dude committed suicide years later. Don't know what his story was but I heard he had hung himself in some forest and wasn't found for some time later.

    Not too surprising

He was probably a manic/depressive thrill seeker.

He gave us a cool memory, though.

And that's not going into a few other Bowe traits....hitting on the break and hitting after the bell. He was always doing that kind of thing. And worse, he threw a ton of rabbit punches. A ton. The most of anyone since good old Chuck Wepner.

96 bro cmon! haha jk the fat ****** comment had me dying. If Bowe wasn't a big name he would of had a couple DQ losses. Yeah pretty insane though. I believe fanman's back was broken in the ring. He died years ago i believe he was gliding and got stuck somewhere and froze to death or some ****. Whatever nut shots Bowe dished out he payed for in Golota 2 and then some.Loved the way he nailed Gonzalez with a few shots when he was on his way down

Bowe was involved in some messes. The guy was and still is one of the most approachable nicest characters you could meet, but in the ring when the lights were on, he was a monster. As lazy as he could be in training, he fought to the death, prepared or not.
