Thats nice dear , but Wlad blew his tank in a heated battle with Lemon Brewster in only 5 rounds.

He is very conservative with his energy. He was exhausted by the 12th round vs Haye , despite only throwing about 10 punches a round for the entire fight.

Marciano sometimes threw 100 punches a round right up to the 15th round.
This is obviously a result of having far greater athleticism and conditioning.

He gets owned often. In a classic section thread, he doubted that Ali's corner gave him smelling salts in a fight. I showed him point blank on video, and he still thinks he's right. You just can't make this stuff up!

Do you believe K2 would award Sanders a big pay day with Vitali after he refused to rematch Wlad?

    What a foolish assumption.

Those stats achievements does not prove how he would do in different eras. They are achievements from his own era and prove he was dominating in his own time. I havent say he wasnt.

Class Thunberg from Finland was dominating his own era in speed skating in 1920ths. He won 5 olympic golds and 2 more olympic medals.

Still because he competed in sport where you can measure times to different eras it wasnt nowhere near gold medal in 2010.

His winning time in 1924 1500m speed skating was 2.20.8

In 2010 hes winning time would have get him in last place because worst time in Olympics was 1.52.67

If you could not measure those times there would be nostalgic people saying how Thunberg would destroy todays competition because this is a weak era in speed skating

If after that loss, he went on to beat Jones, Moore, Liston, Patterson, Cooper, Foreman, Frazier, Norton and others, I'm pretty sure he'd still be great in my eyes.

    That's obviously not the case.

Durability and athleticism are two different things.

They're achievements are greater than those of anybody else from any other era. That's statistical fact and alluding to the theory of them only being successful in one era is a blind and ill informed assumption.
They're standing counteracts your argument beyond debate.

Fine. Speed skating has improved over the years. That has no bearing on boxing or any other sport.

The only relvevence speed skating records have are within the sport of speed skating.

Every sport has different characteristics and different intangibles. Comparing speed skating to boxing is a pointless exercise.

Some sports are not as talented as they once were . Boxing is one of them.

The core construct of boxing and fencing are very similar. Aldo Nadi - born in 1899 is considered the greatest fencer of all time.

You still failed to confirm whether you believe roman athletes , Gladiators and Spartans would be inferior athletes if they were around today?

Marciano's incredible endurance was not a product of durability , it was a direct result of freakish athleticism .

Please cease taking about what you know nothing about.

Yet you have no reasonable explanation as to why this is supposedly so. Your opinion is totally subjective and biased.

Everything indicates that boxers are better today than ever.

Your reason for believing that is purely down having no historical knowledge of the sport.

As I said, you have no rational arguments whatsoever.

Previous eras had lesser talent pool, lesser athletes and professional boxing was less global.

Today's generation has the least licenced boxers on record than any other era.

You couldn't be more wrong if you tried.
