How could a man standing 5'9 be expected to fight any higher than 154? He's a small middle weight

Wide shoulders, stocky thick legs and muscle mass. Canelo doesn't have the classic boxers legs. That's why he is so fuggen slow.:patsch

I liked him even though he lost to Mayweather and Lara. Fighting Cotto was alright, but the way he's been holding onto the middleweight belt and ducking GGG is pretty lame. I lost a lot of respect for him when he decided to fight Khan.

He should have fought another top middleweight if he didn't want to fight Golovkin, and I was afraid that he might fight a top junior middleweight instead. I did not expect him to fight a junior welterweight for the middleweight title. It seems like he's running screaming from anything like a challenge.

Cotto was old and small and never had much of a chance. Now Khan, who's chin is glass at junior welter. This isn't what I expect from a champion. This is what I've come to expect from Floyd Mayweather. For the kind of money he's making, Alvarez should be fighting stiffer competition. And by making these moves he's continuing the bad precident Mayweather started and making it the norm.

You troll so badly all your scripts are all messed up. You're saying canelo is so great they give him rounds and kd points before they even take place? How does he have anything close to bad stamina ??? Seriously child, if you've followed canelo at ALL, you'd know he can fight hard for 12 rounds, even in tough competitive fights the dudes still throwing combos with great form and technique.

Yes, that's exactly what a fighter who's truly lacking in stamina is capable of doing. He must've whooped on a couple of your inferior fighter's . Come clean, that's a troll attempt but you went full re****.

I read best at 155, that's been proven too, he was the best at 154 before and after fmj. Canelo is an elite fighter, whoever really claims otherwise should be ignored. . Ohhh yes, he sucks because he's not pushing his hardest to get it on with ggg...

He's not dumb, he knows the hell he'll be going through fighting ggg. But if it does happen, talking easy prospect for foty, favorite for it too. Unless kovalev ward does go through in 16

Very good fighter. Compact, good reflexes, can counter, very good pocket fighter. Has shown a great appetite for hard fights. Unfortunately, the GGG situation is a massive negative.

His slow feet and laid back in ring attitude which leads to an economical output at times (often mistaken for having poor stanima) will hold him back against certain fighters at the top level.

I had Canelo beating Lara. 115-113. But Lara could have won also an many did have him winning. But that Levi Martinez scorecard was corruption. It wasn't a criteria issue or bad angle views etc. It was pure corruption. Noticed also at the post fight press conference Oscar immediately squashed any questions about a rematch. Oscar said nobody wants a rematch and there are other guys in line! Told Lara to get in the back of the line!:verysad

its like one of those sour patch commercials. He has one of the best resumes in boxing with Trout, Floyd, Lara, angulo, kirkland and Cotto. But then he needs to stop the catchweights
