He looks to have have the complete package. Power, elusiveness, great body attack and very entertaining. 25 years old from khazakstan and he's 18-0 with 13kos although competition is weak. What do you guys know about him? CST80?

Not far off from where Golovkin was before he started working with Abe. Hopefully his career gets managed better than GGGs was at that stage.

Wow just looked him up. Looks eerily similiar to golovkin but with a smaller stature. Obv he's only a prospect but has knocked out his last 12 opponents. Interested to see where he goes.

He looks like him, but isn't past bumbashing stage yet.
Let's wait and see how he does against a decent journeyman first.

I've considered doing a thread on him quite a few times, but held back, I didn't want to seem like I'm just glomming onto everybody from Kazakhstan that fights somewhat like GGG, because quite a few of them try.

I think he's got potential, but he's somewhat lacking in the power department, granted he's stopped a lot of his opponents, but they're all bums .....and he seems to always stop them a little later than other opponents of theirs have, for example it took him 5 rounds to stop Jose Antonio Rodriguez, when it only took fellow Kazakh Kanat Islam 1 round and Amir Imam 2. Which is a red flag for me. His defense is a little leaky, he gets nailed with left hook a little too much, he's okay but I haven't been overly thrilled with the footage I've seen of him.

But for what's its worth he has a cool name.:D

The guy has a good potential but he's lazy like many us Kazakhs. One of the key success factors for GGG is his serious attitude towards discipline.

Just to play devil's advocate, isn't it possible he's just trying to put in some rounds? Also, from the footage I have seen of him he seems to have excellent defensive awareness. Probably the slickest I've seen from an Eastern European fighter although Pirog was up there too. There seems to be a lot of footage of him doing talk shows and other promotional appearances in Khazakstan. For those in the know, is he very popular back home? Are they hyping him up go be the next good boy?

What makes you say he is lazy? Does he have a reputation for having a ****py work ethic? He does seem to carry a bit of body fat and I was thinking with his frame he should be able to make 135 or at the most 140 at his age. 147 should be his last stop when he is well into his 30s.

People close to him say he is lazy, unfortunately. I like the guy.
