the thread starter was convinced Martin was going to ko Joshua and yet comes out and says it was a rip off when, in his view, a shock happens and a rookie wins a world title! :rofl

Being able to pass off average fights and average fighters as "world championship boxing" is not a good thing for the sport.

Maybe there is. But for fans who enjoy quality fights and quality boxing, that doesn't help.
There's a lot of interest in Britain's Got Talent and Michael McIntyre Show. And 10 or 15 years from now most the viewers will be laughing about how sh!t it all was, or else forgotten about it and watching the latest sh!t.

Yes because pro boxing is as much about entertainment as it is a sport thats what a lot on here dont get.

The undercard was pretty dire. The Selby-Hunter fight become kinda interesting and on paper Rose-Macklin should have been a good fight, it's still poor. As brilliant as he is, McDonnell is boring to watch and was against poor opp. For me though, the real farce was having Connor Benn on after two world title fights...I'd be incredibly insulted were I McDonnell or Selby.

Groves-Brophy as chief support too... just why?

Obviously the problem being that everyone who paid only did so to watch Joshua, which is fine but it doesn't give Hearn any reason to put a better card on. I'm not saying that it's right or wrong but that's unfortunately how it is

I watch nothing other than live sport really. So get plenty of value from it. Cricket, Football, Boxing, Darts all provide plenty of entertainment for me.

Don't normally go for PPV's solo though. Either go to a pub showing it or split it with mates. This last one was a big house party showing it so all it cost me was the beers to take round. Cracking value.

it is mainly the football that you get with ss1 and it's top top coverage for the 25 or quid a month.

They say there's one born every minute, that's millions every year. :D

Even Daisy Anne Whyte said in his IFL interview he wouldn't be paying for it and was gonna stream it.

Even though the card was pish, I'd rather have my mates round and watch it - make a night of it - in HD then lurch over my *****y iPad watching some stream
