He leaves himself WIDE open when attacking with those wide telegrammed shots, they come from a different zip code.

Wilder can literally debate with himself as to which shot should I lay on this wide open come face first fat cw

He's got the power to KO Wilder and very well might, but he looks so slow.

His hand speed is solid and he's fast in spots but overall, he's slow. I don't know if Wilder is intelligent enough to avoid it but Povetkin telegraphs his shots.

Most of it is past fights "commercial"... At close distance his shots are sharp and seem fast, but Wilder's taller with far longer reach. I saw no answer as to how Povetkin's gonna close in and land on Wilder. The featured uppercuts might be useful against 5'11 opponents, but not on Wilder.

In a nutshell - I rate Povetkin, but that video did not convince me he's ready to fight Wilder.

I just see Povetkin as a far superior technician to Wilder and far superior to anybody Wilder has faced. Wilder wont find it so easy to land his big shots on the Russian and also wont find it easy to keep him away from him. For somebody with some great reach advantages he doesnt seem to make alot of use of it. Im sure he is trained and trained again to use it but his discapline lets him down.

If Spzilka can get to him Povetkin can.

Spzilka didn't get to him that much, he mostly ran from him. And when he did try to get to him, Wilder damn near killed him.

Povetkin has a completely different style, that fight has really no bearing on this one.
