Right. I mean if Canelo was a small guy I could kinda understand. But he weighs more than most middleweights on fight night.

Canelo should give him the belt and then challenge him for a non title fight at 155.

Won't matter because G is gonna be fighting Khan for the belt , not Canelo! Khan gonna whoop Canelo! KARMA!!! It's outta our hands and now a greater force is guiding Khan!

Honestly, Golovkin should just bite the bullet and agree to 155. If GGG doesn't, Cowardelo is just going to drop the belt and run, and who's that going to hurt the most? Golovkin.

Yes, it's not fair. Yes, it's ridiculous that the middleweight "champ" won't fight at the MW weight. But it's Golovkin who needs Canelo. Not the other way around.

Golovkin should still be fine. He's ten times better than Saul anyway.

You know what? Maybe we're actually being the unreasonable ones demanding Canelo fight at 160.

If Canelo agreed to 160. Who would win? It's obvious. It wouldn't even be close. We're basically demanding he fight a match that doesn't need to be fought. Maybe it really is best for GGG to drop to 155 for this...

Who cares about clownello? The guy is a joke. Lara, mayweather, Larry Mosley, and trout beat him clear as day. He might be a top 5 guy at 160 and maybe a top 3 guy at 154.
Clownello won't fight at 160 because he will only have a 10lbs advantage over the majority of guys there. He prefers a 20 lbs + advantage.
    Guy is a boring fighter.

He's older and can't cut weight as easily. Hence the reason for 155

How does GGG come from a corrupt country such as Kazakhstan and not know the deal? He needs to step up, take the catchweight, and knock Canelo out. Unless he's ducking hoping to get gifted a belt which won't happen. He's so law and order by the rules, coming from where he comes from is a gut busting laugh.

    ^^

    I agree

just beat canelos rear end at 155 then hell have no more worries at catchweights or whatever.....hell call the shots

something tells me they don't fancy their chances in that ordeal...or theyd be all over it....

:D I agree that the WBC is corrupt and I doubt that we will see Canelo fighting GGG in a MANDATORY BOUT any time soon.

I suspect this issue will wind up being taken to court given the info about a "signed agreement" to meet for a MANDATORY that the WBC acknowledged and say they will inforce.

 The only proven issue is that O$CAR & Canelo are trying to "duck" GGG, the rest of the comments are a matter of opinion.

    ;)

Look at all this trouble Canelo is causing, and this whole circus started with Cotto fighting at catch weights.
