How would Mike Tysons legacy look like if he drew the color line?

so what does this mean? That the only people he would have fought were C00ney, D'Witt, Tangstad, Zouski, Crabtree, Jameson, Damiani, Duplooy, etc?? I'd say that it'd be pretty weak resume.

    Because they were all ****!

    Well, there was ****ey.

If Mike Tyson drew the colour line:

    He'd have no Mcneely,
    No Botha,
    No Golota,
    No Savarese,
    No Mcbride

And he'd be missing about 10 bums from the start of his career.

In his prime Tyson mostly fought black Americans.
He also fought Frank Bruno, who had lost to black Americans.
    Berbick was Jamaican-Canadian-American.

Perhaps Tyson was only really the champion of Black America.
F--k, that's statistically worse than Dempsey, who fought white Americans, Argentinians and Frenchmen.

    Those were non-title fights, post-prime.
    His sideshow days.

Yeah, probably. I can't remember it, but he did tend to run the whole politically incorrect gambit.

Especially around the time that he aligned himself with spike Lee. I remember watching the pre fight commentary to Tyson vs Stewart in 1990 ( while making out with my then girlfriend ) and all the **** he and Tyson were talking about whites.

Yeah, Spike Lee, there's a guy who tries too hard to show how much he hates whites. Unfortunately he comes across as a nerd teenager looking to get a rise out of his parents.
Tyson had a similar complex too. I don't know how many times he had to kiss Jim Jacobs on the lips before he decided he hated whites though. :D

Ironic how it was also a white family who took him under their wing and made it possible for him to manifest his gift, without which he'd statistically be likely to die on the streets at 18 or spend most of his life in prison.. Spike Lee never did that for him...but Who knows if his views are still the same though.. He seems a bit wiser and more repentant these days.

Him and Ali were both a pair of plastic racists.

He'd be regarded as a joke of a champion.

Even with the colour bar in place, it is still obvious who the best fighters of the era are.

You still get mixed race bouts, they just tend not to be for the title.

    I think he has changed.

He did an interview recently where he said Trump is getting a bad rep is not racist.

I think the thread was designed to prove a point.

That's because Trump promoted a lot of Tysons early fights.

I think Trump wad involved in Tyson Spinks.
