well alex..I agree about it being at 160...it should...I don't think its cool of canelo or whatever....but to me it just is what it is...I accept the reality of it....and I knew it was coming...knew canelo would do this...so im not outraged

belt has been defended 3x in a row under the full limit.....canelo prob like "if I can challenge for this belt under the limit I can defend it under too"....I don't agree with the principle.....but I figured that would be his stance

Canelo sees all these other fighters defending titles at catchweights, and even worse draining fighters, without getting much criticism, but then when he does it vs smaller guy coming up (where no one get drained and made unhealthy) he gets all this hate, and polls like 22-2 or whatever it is, that he’s a disgrace?

Meanwhile he’s fighting a guy that Floyd Mayweather, supposedly TBE, was too scared to fight, after TBE was too scared to rematch Canelo at the full limit of LMW or fight him without draining him period.

And if GGG says Canelo is the same size as him, then fight him at 155 or 154. If Canelo and GGG are the same size like GGG says, then GGG should have no problem making Caneloweight right :deal

exactly.....ggg can make 154 for Floyd ...but cant make it for a guy Floyd easily took care of....and they'll sell you this "well canelo aint Floyd" garbage....but canelo is basically gggs Floyd....best hes gonna get....biggest fight hell ever get

they talk about "oh but its for the belt and ggg is the mandatory challenger" nonsense......ggg can take the belt as its handed to him...and it wont mean anything unless he takes it off canelo in the ring

ive heard someone say they thought it was all an act and that both sides have agreed to a fight next year...I hope that's true for gggs sake...because

otherwise...ggg hasn't even called canelos bluff to see if canelo is making a challenge at 155 or completely avoiding the fight

If canelo accepted...ggg could literally end this guys career....but for some reason he seems hesistant......hes either legit afraid of something or that person was right about them having a deal in place for next year(which im sure isn't iron clad by any stretch)

 

If GGG fights Canelo at 155 and beats him I can just hear excuses that he beat a drained Canelo. Maybe.

I find it very odd that GGG is refusing to accept Canelo's challenge. It makes me wonder if they know that Canelo gave him a hard time in sparring several years ago when Canelo was still a boy with less world level experience... Surely they see how much he's improved and do not want to have what they deem to be disadvantages...

 

Leoffer keeps saying that they have some contract in place with Canelo. But then says they cant force him to fight.
