Leoffler doesn't know how to deal with the shady underhanded figures in boxing.

My honest personal opinion is that they will fight each other in Spet or next May. GGG seems awfully calm about this situation and I doubt either guy is afraid of each other.

I feel had GGG done good PPV #s we would have seen the fight possibly next so now they have to get more people to talk about it, and demand it like is happening right now. The Khan fight imo is a ploy to get Canelo against a huge European name so that they can better market the fight overseas.

:patsch From what I've seen on the internet...

GGG DOMINATED Canelo when they spared !!!

This info's been around for quite a while and has been posted in numerous threads on this web site.

:admin So, once again, you are caught twisting the facts in order to disparage GGG.

:p Right after Canelo beat Cotto, in the ring Max asked Canelo if he was ready to meet GGG. Canelo said... YES !!!

Shortly after leaving the ring, at a press conference...

O$CAR started waffling... first saying the fight needed to "MARINATE", then we got the start of the "CATCH WEIGHT" nonsense.

We should know about May 22nd.... either Canelo agrees to meet GGG for the MANDATORY BOUT... or the WBC demands that Canelo surrenders the belt.

Note: "should" means... "ought to", not necessarily "will".

    ;)

They need to get rid of the 154 and 168 weight divisions. Maybe this way 160 wont be so dead like folks say? The guys at 154 would have to go to 160. Unless they want to make 147.Same for the guys at 168. :good

If they wanted a big European name to hype the later GGG fight, why not fight Chris Eubank Jr or Billy Joe Saunders? A fight against Saunders would get another belt for unification. Then Golovkin and Alvarez would both have two of the big international belts. No, I'm afraid that fighting Khan is just a ***** move.

Why are you Golovstans so obessed corrupt belts? Let it go and accept that GGG should fight Canelo, belt or no belt.

Khan is bigger than Eubank or Saunders.

Imagine the scenario that a 147 pound man fights Ginger girl for the MW title and wins. Then that 147 pound fighter will only fight at 147. Eventually the MW title could be held by Rigondeaux who won't fight above 122. Anyone who condones what Wrangello is doing have no idea.

Not only that. If GGG was 25, he'd probably agree to the CW eventually. But with age metabolism just doesn't allow you to cut weight to such low levels healthily enough. Basically Canelo is exploiting his youth. In some time Canelo will even struggle to make 160.

Look at Lemieux - he's a pretty heavy dude, but because he is young, he made 160 without any problems. Off course after brutal ass-whooping from GGG he failed to make weight for the next fight due to either being concussed or psychologically depressed, but this is a different matter.
