So GGG can duck DeGale at 168 but open to fight Ramirez for his title?

of course degale doesn't mention ggg....hes under the impression ggg wants to unify .....that's at least what we heard when ward came calling...even though me mentions froch, chavez, degale, Hopkins and Ramirez.....-sigh-

OP you should have made a thread asking why the WBC middleweight champion is fighting a WELTERWEIGHT at a catchweight.

That is a fact and can be discussed.

So is it acceptable for Canelo to insist on a catchweight against Golovkin because he is a bigger man but unacceptable for Golovkin to ask Ward for a catchweight?

    ^^
I thought ggg said he and canelo are the same size?

so shouldn't be tough to make 155

I also thought ggg said he could do 154 for Floyd....Floyd beat canelo easily.....canelo is gggs version of Floyd...closest hell get...biggest fight hell ever have

what do u think ggg is more afraid of?

    being drained at 155?

or that the belt wont be valid at a cw?

has to be being afraid of being drained and knocked out by canelo....because that belts already been defended 3x in a row at a cw...about to be a 4th.....so he cant be worried about that

must be worried hed get beaten up by little canelo lol

Degale is clearly the better fighter and GGG should fight him instead.

You didn't answer the question :good

You have just listed the same old rubbish spouted by Golovkin haters. The time lines are way off, no mentions of rehydration clauses that were talked about if any of those fights were to have happened.

Those Ward, Canelo amd Mayweather questions were put to Golovkin in interviews and fighters say all sorts of stuff in interviews that is never really going to happen. So what you've done is just tried to spin it so it suits your point of view.

See, you come here defending Ward, hammering Golovkin.

Ward is a man who couldn't make SMW any longer, jumps 7lb and needs multiple "tune ups" (one at a catchweight) to grow in to a weight to fight Kovalev.

Yet according to you Golovkin should have jumped 8lb to fight Ward and now should boil down to 5lb to fight Canelo, a man who walks around and on fight nights weighs more than he does

Jump up 8lb, boil down 5lb, what is Golovkin made of plasticine?

    You Sir are a clown.

It's not about being afraid, if Canelo was still a 154 fighter , I'd be totally open to a 155 catchweight as long as no titles were on the line.

Canelo has no right to ask for a catchweight here that's the problem.

A choice of a weight swing of 13lb for Golovkin to satisfy you, so either jump up 8lb and fight DeGale or boil down 5lb to fight Canelo.

Yet Ward gets a pass for multiple "tune ups" and not jumping in with Kovalev for how long now?

And Canelo gets a pass for fighting a welterweight for the middleweight title at a catchweight.

The agenda is clear, the arguments are ridiculous.

    N17...I did answer the question

ggg said he and canelo are the same size....so ggg can make 155.....shouldn't be a problem

ggg was also pursuing fights with guys in 168...a division which ward ruled and has fought 95 percent of his fights in....

has canelo fought at the full 160 limit yet? he has zero fights/wins there....

so is he really a 160lb fighter? yes he has a belt there...which he was allowed to challenge for....but is he a 160lb fighter?

you guys keep clinging to the base rules...."160 lb belt so it must be at 160".....because its all you've got

the world doesn't work like that....neither does boxing

that's why ggg is never going to be regarded when all is said and done....

That's how clueless you really are, just because they may be around the same size does not mean they can make the same weight.

    :patsch

Callum Smith is 6 foot 3 and a SMW, David Haye is 6 foot 3 and a Heavyweight.
Is Haye ducking Callum Smith if he doesn't agree to fight Smith at LHW?

You are not taking body frame, body density and all sorts of other factors in to consideration.
