Yes boxing does work like that, weights classes are there for a reason if you call yourself the world middleweight champion then you are a middleweight, Canelo isn't so big he decides weight classes or invents them for himself.

Look, if you don't like Golovkin then that's fine, I don't like certain fighters but be consistent, you're a typing contradiction. Just be consistent in praise and criticism.

For example, I don't like Amir Khan, can't stand the man and gave Khan a lot of hammer for not fighting Brook but I have to give Brook the same treatment now for not fighting anybody worth fighting and praise Khan for taking a fight that's very dangerous for him.

Stylistically DeGale is just about the worst possible match up for GGG, slick southpaw with an iron chin, quick hands and good power. That said I still think Ramirez is a great fight and would be Golovkins best win for sure.
