I think GGG-Degale could possibly be a big fight down the line. It seems like an interesting style match-up to me. Degale seems to be getting better with each fight too. I'm fairly confident that he will take care of "Porky" Medina with ease in his next fight. From what I understand he hasn't called out GGG yet (why would he when GGG fights in a lower weight class, is an HBO fighter, etc.), but if GGG moves up or shows a willingness to fight at 168 and Degale keeps winning in style perhaps the powers that be could somehow make the fight come together. It's not something I'm going to hold my breath for, however, and I will continue to be entertained by each fighters respective fights in the meantime. I'd also like to see Degale establish himself as the man at 168, though that would mean that certain fights would need to be made which would require the cooperation of Al Haymon.

What I'm saying is the people who don't like GGG, if he actually signed to fight DeGale instead of being like "GGG's fighting a good opponent well done" and focusing on the positive aspect of that prospect alone, they'd use it as some sort of further "proof" as to how GGG ducked Ward and what a coward he is. It already happened once with Froch.

 

ehh...nah...i respectfully disagree....ive said in the past that if he took the degale fight it would be a positive step in the right direction...and i stand by that......
