I'm curious with everyone's opinions on Manny Pacquiao vs speedy fighters. How good was Pacman vs quick footed and quick fisted fighters? Who are the fastest fighters he's fought? Tim Bradley? I always wanted to see how Pacquiao do against speedy fighters like Zab Judah, Amir Khan and so on.
Coming from fly, he's very used to fast guys as size and weight are large factors in speed. And coming from the lower weights typically everyone is fast.
You kind of touched on the greatest secret to his success as he moved up in weight: he did fight some great fighters who he deserves credit for beating, but he didn't fight fighters with speed. Bradley was the fastest fighter he fought above 122, and his speed is more B+ than A. We saw how even a past prime Mayweather dominated with the edge in speed. Manny's greatest strength is dampened if his opponent could match him in speed. Would've been nice to see him fight a lot of guys with speed who he didn't fight: Guzman, Raheem, Khan, Brook would all have been tough matchups.
Ledwaba was faster than all them with possible exception of Khan. And Pac blew up Ledwaba. He was even faster than Pacquiao.
