Reports breaking out that HBO have confirmed Kell Brook was offered Miguel Cotto in New York on June 18th which would have been on PPV, however Brook and promoter Eddie Hearn turned it down....

For someone who is keen to fight a big name and raise his stock, if true, this is crazy stuff from Kell and Eddie

  2. Brook don't want any of the big names, he's a fraud.

Firstly if true will be very disappointing.

Would also like to hear how much money would of been offered.

Brooks been World Champion for about a year and a half and still says he's ready for the big fights...yet when he's offered one, he ****s it.

What happened to him wanting GGG? LOL

I don't believe this personally. Even FW said the other day that talk of the fight was BS as Cotto's people said he's not available to fight at the moment

Probably because it was at light middle and Brook won't want to lose his world title

Depends what weight, what sort of deal was put on the table etc. Plus as has already been mentioned, FW recently said when he approached Cotto for Liam Smith they were told he wasn't available at the moment.

You can't just jump on the bandwagon and assume Brook is now suddenly ducking Cotto.

  10. This guy has made a career out of beating up lames while on roids, and is now afraid of fighting an unmotivated, injury ravaged old pensioner who he knows would still maul him to death.

    Verdict - Fraud.

Whether this is true or not the point still stands that Brook hasn't had a proper defence yet. He's obviously good so get him in a proper fight.

****ed about wanting Kahn who went for a much bigger fight instead. Hearn needs to realise there are fighters outside of England

brook fans will continue to use the excuse that he is the most avoided fighter in the world

spence is the IBF mandatory but i don't think he has to fight him until 2017 so kell brook will run from spence too.

Brook won't fight Spence Jr. When the time comes Brook will say "I've fought a couple of mandatories and now it's time to move on" and will move up in weight.
