I don't do the rankings, and wouldn't put him in top3. I asked you a simple question, who do you reckon Spence beating in a year and a half to make it to the top of the p4p rankings? Or were you just trolling and get people to bite?

 

I suppose anything is possible. A young Manny Pacquiao didn't look that great when I first got a look at him. You could tell he had ridiculous power and athleticism but that was about it. The holes in his game would obviously be exploited by fighters with superior technique, and they were by Morales and Marquez. But somewhere along the way he put all the pieces together and became an ATG.

 

If he's able to get fights with (and beat) Brook, Garcia and the winner of Porter-Thurman, than he'd be a bonafide P4P star.

There's a lot of excellent fighters though, especially at the lower weights. Guys like Lomachenko, Crawford, Inoue, Uchiyama, Chocolatito. But Spence would definitely be in the mix, especially if he were able to secure those fights I mentioned.

As for Ward, I'm a big fan of his but let's see if he can get past Sergey which is going to be one helluva fight. Whoever wins that match will have a very strong case as being the best fighter P4P.
