You said Algieri will be a little trouble along the way, and then say even a tiny chance someone should slap themselves ..

No, pretty sure the way he wrote that was meant to be "Spence will have little trouble along the way". As in, would be easy work.

Now Cistatey, They're both on steroids Algieri has been unnaturally muscular for years, stop whining.

But hey, look on the bright side, bro, if Spence is "not one of the top 40 prospects in the world," and neither is Joshua, this is the strongest era in boxing ever!

Haha. I gave Algieri no chance to win this fight. "Little trouble along the way" is how I described Spence would win it. I was correct. Try harder, drenlou.

Obviously so. You get an "A" for reading comprehension today, IB!

Can't say that about one of your peers, however!

Just saw the match, but I was impressed that Spance beat him so easy.
Fun fighter to watch and the WW division is becoming fun again now that May/Pac & Marquez are gone.

I hate to rain on everybody's parade but...........

    Here's a reality check.

I usually hype and root for Algieri, and in the lead up to this fight, I didn't, but I knew deep inside he had no chance. Why? Because stylistically Errol Spence Jr was all wrong for him. He was almost KO'd by Pacquiao who isn't packing quite the punch he used to so the idea of him surviving against a massive Welterweight who could probably make Middleweight easily was slim to none. Spence is great at cutting off the ring and pressure, I knew he'd be in Algieri's grill all night, not allowing him to breathe and what eventually happened would probably happen, even though I was in public denial about it.

But here's the reality check, Algieri doesn't have the chin to make it at WW, the only reason he did so well against Khan was because Khan has zero power, so as long as he has someone who can't hurt him, Chris has a chance, kind of like Paulie Malingnaggi.

    Keith Thurman
    Shawn Porter
    Kell Brook
    Sammy Vasquez
    Egidijus Kavaliauskas

Would've all brutally stop Algieri last night.

    And....
    Danny Garcia
    Jessie Vargas
    Frankie Gomez
    Sadam Ali
    Adrien Broner
    Taras Shelestyuk
    Ivan Golub

all have a pretty damn good chance at it as well.:good

Now what'll be fun is seeing Spence try to walk down and pressure a guy like Kell Book, who's going to be hitting him back as hard as he's getting hit.

He didn't "try slugging it out" he was in survival retreat mode the entire 4 or 5 rounds, when you have your first opponent truly elite level across the boards who has no respect for you and has been waiting years for this exact opportunity, it matters non what Chris was trying to do.

A+ fighter against C level tough guy, no matter what most of us knew exactly how this fight would turn out. I obviously over rated CA's toughness, because he was done from the first body shot that landed.

Well, he was literally done when the ink hit paper

Brook has pillow fists and most of all glass ribs. He doesn't make it out of three rounds with Spence.
