How do you guys think this fight goes down? I have really difficulty picking a clear winner in this one but I personally have to lean towards Floyd. I don't see how any fighter at 130 Ibs can deal with the combination of speed and power that Floyd provided at that weight.

I also personally feel this is where both these fighters are at the absolute best. Floyd is arguably the GOAT at 130 and Pac's best work is from 122-130.

    Mayweather UD

If Pac couldn't figure out JMM at 126 no chance he can deal with Floyd at 130.

    Floyd should win.

But with the right judges I can see how Pacman could steal a decision with his work rate.

but do you think PAC has the work rate to overwhelm Floyd? While PAC was a machine at those weight and was throwing 100 punches a round on a regular Floyd could straight spark fighters at 130. On top of that his defense was still amazing and unlike "Money Mayweather" PBF would walk punchers down. To top that all off he may not have been faster but he was arguably just as fast.

Pac-Floyd 2015 was a low output affair, a fight won by a few light jabs and ring generalship (underwhelming at that). Pacquiao was the welterweight version of himself, something that should not have ever been the case. Pacquiao was also so far past his prime, being a 36 year old former flyweight pressure fighter who had been in so many wars against ATGs and elites, knocked out 3 times (1 being the most brutal knockout I've ever seen that fighters just do not recover from, in 2012) and had a torn rotator cuff.

Pac at the lower weight classes was a brutal KO puncher. He was a Gennady Golovkin in terms of punching power.
Floyd was more offensive at 130 (one of the reasons why he's considered as being better overall at 130 than at 147), but this works against Floyd in this matchup.
I don't believe Floyd yet possessed the ring IQ at 130 to be able to be the ring general to the level that assures him victory.

Moreover, Pac was a fighter who used to force fights, and take some big power punches to land his better and higher volume of power punches. We would not have seen a 'tentative' Pacquiao, I'm afraid. He would have been reckless but it would have worked to Pacquiao's favour overall.

An even fight, it's so hard to bet against a 130lb PBF who is one of the Top 10 all time in terms of ability. I have a slight bias towards PBF because I supported him back in them days, but I think it's a pick em'.

Very balanced post, one that I tend to agree with, but if were forced to bet $$$ I'd probably go with Floyd. Wouldn't want to bet a lot either way cause it's a close call.

JMM gave him hell at 126, most people think he was lucky to not lose that. If Pac was frustrated by JMM at 126 how do you think he'd cope with a bigger, stronger, faster, more skilled fighter in Floyd at 130 ?

Very biased, very loaded with Pac-Floyd rhetoric.
JMM and Mayweather are two different fighters with two different styles.

At 130, Mayweather is bigger, stronger, faster and more skilled like Gatekeeper wrote.

I think Floyd already proved what he can do to Pacquiao's work rate.
