Na his just not that good. Prior to the fight he claimed he was going to beat him better than Pacquiao did. After the struggle he made excuses but the reality is Khan just isn't that good.

I wouldn't read to much into it.

I haven't seen all the Spence fight but he looked to be doing an awful lot of holding and hitting.

We know Khan isnt a puncher - Spence looks like his.

I still think Khan only has a small chance vs Canelo he has to be punch perfect and i just cant see it once he starts to feel the weight pressure and power.

The fact that Spence got KO just means there is another potetial player in a division that should be littered with massive fights.

And anyone who thinks Gatti wasn't a puncher needs to watch more of his fights. I mean he won 40 fights and 31 of them were by stoppage. I remeber him folding over Dorin with a body shot and then there was Gamache etc

I don't think it was because Khan took him lightly. I think it was because Algieri fought in a completely different style than Khan, and all of us form that matter, thought he would fight in.

Against Provo and Pac he fought on the back foot. Against Khan he was far more aggressive. Two of Khan's biggest weaknesses are his low ring IQ and ability to adapt on the fly. By Algieri changing his style, it threw Khan and he had massive problems dealing with it.

It's like Khan gets frustrated at his own inability to perform to the level he thinks he's at in terms of boxing skills - so as a result he keeps moving up through the divisions to find this nirvana where puts on a boxing clinic. Not gonna happen. He's a one-dimensional boxer that cannot control the pace of a fight and we will once again see that against Canelo.

Khan will get knocked out but still gotta respect him for taking on this fight.

Hopefully he'll stop ducking Brook and fight him after this

    Agreed!!

Khan struggles with pressure fighters algieri was smart enough to pressure him simple as that. Canelo is not a pressure fighter if he was he would of actually done some good against Mayweather! He likes to box that's why I can't see canelo blasting him out of there early. I see khan having some real succes early on and shocking a few but ultimately getting knocked out on the home stretch as canelo will have no choice but to push forward and Khan doesn't have the power to put him on the back foot when he does.

How is Khan's power at 155??? Has he been drained at these lower weights as he claims??

How will Khan fare with the 10oz gloves??
