Pacman by KO. At 140 Manny finally matured into a legit two fisted threat and fixed many of his balance issues and started moving his head more. Taylor's movement would trouble Manny, but Manny's consistent power and aggression late into to the fight gets him the win.

    Manny by decision, wafer thin.

This is why Manny would have beat Taylor:

Pacquiao would be a very hard style for anyone to fight, win or lose. He would have been difficult for Whitaker too. He was fast and just threw so many punches. As much as I liked Taylor, I think Manny would probably stop him.

Meldrick had some of the fastest hands this sport has seen, but don't forget Mannys hands were blazing fast as well plus he had some of the best feet in the game not to mention a south paw with knockout power. Taylor wouldn't have anything to keep Manny off of him and he will get touched. I doubt he last the distance. Manny between 5-8. Taylor doesn't have the power or size to fend Pacman off of him.

After careful consideration ,,I agree. Manny would not have a speed advantage over Taylor and his movement means this is going the distance

I actually like pac by ko 2nd half of the fight. I think he hit considerably harder at 140 than JCC

I love Meldrick Taylor but he’s way out of his league here.

I think Meldrick would give a good account of himself…but I would think Pac should score a close decision

The Pac who defeated Hatton does the same thing to Taylor.

It might last a bit longer but the result would be the same.

Pac stops Meldrick Taylor in a thrilling fight where we see speed, violence, and heart from both guys. Problem for Taylor is that he didn’t have the power to bother Pac and his defensive liability along with his tendency to slug it out will be his downfall. At some point Pac will drop Taylor and lay out a fury of combinations on him.
