Don't ask who is Ward's next opponent, but ask the question above instead. And stop talking about Ward ducks GGG or GGG ducks Ward cause it's a very boring issue to discuss. What are you gonna say if Ward's next fight is scheduled next year or the next 2 years?
Well he's meant to fight Kovalev in November and wants another fight before then so I suspect July or August would be likely. Who he fights is hard to say, hopefully someone decent like Pascal or Fonfara. I pretty happy now that his career seems to be back on track. This will be the most important year of his career, depending on what happens this year will define his career.
He fought Will Smith and that Barrera fellow in the last 3 years, how is his career back on track? His fans are easily fooled, this is why he'll never fight an elite opponent ever again. Why bother, when he can throw a Will Smith or a Mickey Rourke to his fans once every couple of years, fill the bank account and keep the simpletons happy
I thought he said he wanted a fight in the summer? I think August is the absolute latest he can fight if he wants to fight Kovalev in November. Gives him time to heal up if he gets a cut or something.
Ward said fighting Kovalev is no big deal. He said that he already beat the Kovalevs of the past. The guys who were supposed to be the boogeymen. I think he meant Kessler and Froch fights.
He isn't fighting Kovalev in November. Or December for that matter. Be lucky if we see this fight by June next year. Ward will get injured again most likely somewhere along the line.
He was talking about having a fight before facing Kovalev. If that fight happens, then I'll be happy.
They will both take another fight by end of summer hopefully. Then fight in the Fall. That would be ideal. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
he wont be having another tune up HBO cant afford it and have given him too many chances hes fighting King Krusher Kovalev
HBO signed a 3 fight deal with him. If Ward chooses to fight a good opponent next, they will have to show it. I think it will most likely be either Vyacheslav Shabranskyy, Trevor McCumby, Marco Antonio Periban or Sean Monaghan. My vote goes to Sharbranskyy. I doubt Juergen Braehmer would step up and there is not much else to choose from.
It's a shame bumlovkin won't step up to fight Ward next, would be great to see Ward fight bumlovkin than Kovalev.
