The underrated methodical meticulous brilliant American Light Middleweight Julian Williams is a Sleeping Giant quietly waiting for the perfect moment to strike, he's the guy no one will see coming. All the fanfare and the hype has largely fallen at the feet of the overrated Demetrius Boo Boo Andrade and The Charlo Brothers, while stalwarts of the division like Erislandy Lara, Austin Trout, Vanes Martirosyan, Ishe Smith, Willie Nelson still get much of the limelight. But for some reason the guy that always get left out of the conversation is the man who has all the tools to be the most dominant force the division has seen in years. He's more well rounded than almost any American fighter at the moment in fact I'm of the opinion he's capable of wiping out the whole division including its former king Canelo Alvarez right now. And I think of anyone he's the guy who could possibly move up and be a potential threat to GGG at Middleweight, because he's a huge LMW as it is, I'm not sure how he makes the weight so comfortably. Could he beat GGG, I'm not sure, but he's the only guy I think could be competitive that we have to offer.

There's nothing he doesn't do well, he has an excellent jab, unlike many fighters who abandon it a round or two into the fight, he realizes what an important tool it is and he utilizes to its maximum effect, and it usually ends up paying dividends for him. His straight right which he sets up with his jab is a thing of beauty, its crisp sharp and usually jarring to his opponents, violently snapping their head back and they usually never see it coming. He's incredibly accurate, deceptively fast and deceptively heavy handed, but his patience in the ring may make it seem like he lacks power and explosivity, that couldn't be further from the truth, he's capable of blowing guys out of the ring in shockingly violent fashion with the greatest of ease when he wants to make a point. Although he's not opposed to taking his time and slowly playing with his opponents and perfecting his craft, he's an intelligent fighter who realizes there's always new things you can learn, different ways you can tweak and hone your skills, which will ultimately pay off handsomely when he's in the ring with more seasoned opponents. His footwork is exquisite, he controls range very well, at all times he expertly manages keeps his opponents right where he wants them, at the end of his jab and eating his combinations. He's a savage body puncher when he wants to be, digging hybrid right left hook/uppercuts right into his opponents upper ribcage. His defense is solid, he rarely gets hit clean. And he has a rare quality that many fighters seem to lack especially the further they get into a fight, and that's concentration, his poise and focus never seems to wane throughout the match, he's always cognizant of what he should be doing and when, which makes him an awful opponent to come up against for most fighters. His Ring IQ is as good as it gets, he's probably the most intelligent fighter in the division, and that's saying a lot in a division that's inhabited by very sharp fighters like Trout and Lara, but JRock is the total package, whose just waiting to be allowed to show it.

The Philly Predator is patiently waiting for his meal, now who's willing to step up and be his prey? Are you Boo Boo, how about you Jermell or Jermall, step up and be the sacrificial lamb for King Julian.:deal

Here's Julian demolishing Luciano Cuello in one round something that took Canelo Alvarez 5 rounds to accomplish, and he went the distance with Willie Nelson and Julio Jr.

I refuse to accept him as my personal LMW savior.

I followed a lot of light middleweight saviors and got burned every time out, so I'm confident I have enough experience now to be sure Lara is the one to follow and deliver us from mediocrity evil :bart

Isn't time for Lara to have another razor close match against Vanes, that he barely wins, that makes everybody question themselves as to why they rate Lara so highly, while the other half of the site claims it was a 12-0 shutout.

He's a false prophet Robney:deal Come and jump on Julian's bandwagon, after all he hates his somewhat douchey nickname J-Rock that was given to him by his trainer, if that makes you eel any better.:yep

Hey, Jesus had flaws too. And Thor, Odin, Zeus, Shiva... name them.
Not all gods can be like GGG.

Lara will win a (very) close but by still clearly undeniable "masterclass" performance UD, and no J-Rock KO can in any way compete with that! HERETIC! :bart
