strange decision as the 122 to 126 is packed with talent and popular fighters where as 130 is getting there but can't be compared. Does Lomo have a weight problem making 126?

its simple really, he cant get anymore belts at 126

russell ,selby and lsc all wont fight him, so he has no other choice

at least martinez is willing to fight him at 130 and id say the other belt holders there might be more willing

He can't make 122lbs, especially considering he fought at 132lbs LW at the Olympics 4 years ago, albeit a small 132lber at the time.

Selby and Santa Cruz are ducking him. Russell Jr rematch is pointless. Lomachenko is chasing greatness in a stacked 130lb division.

Think people are overlooking the more obvious point.
He's a big FW who weighs in the high 130s in the ring.

130 will be easier for him since he wont have to worry about cutting so much

From what I understand, he can't make 122 and he's struggling to get a titlist at 126lbs.

This is the one guy who genuinely seems willing to face anyone.

Arum has no fights for him at 126 and he's not part of the PBC so he is basically S.O.L. There will be more opportunities for him at 130
