Canelo would fight GGG no doubt he is not escared, BUT Oscar is...

I wish it were true but right now they are both looking bad. ^

I admit I am a GGG nuthugger, but Canelo is impressive and I think he would give Golovkin some hard rounds. I wish they would drop this stupid 155 story and just make the fight.

 

Golovkin Win's easily...that's why the are stalling.....Canelo has a heart as Big as a Pea.!!!!

Nobody wins easy against a 25 year old canelo. Not even the best fighter in ggg. Great fight, canelo will take a bad beating but have his rounds too.

No elite fighter in their prime gets beaten easily by anyone around their weight and canelo is an elite fighter

 

I don't think canelo is ducking anyone, maybe his handlers are.

Since fighting Trout, he's taken on some dangerous competition so I don't look at him as someone who's scared to fight anyone in and around his weight division.

The problem stems from these ridiculous CW fights that have been going on since Martinez lost the title to Cotto. Beating Cotto was a great scalp for Canelo to get, but it's essentially a double edge sword because he's continued on with this CW garbage that's essentially holding the lineal MW title hostage.

 

I think so too. El Pollo 155 antics aside, Canelo can really fight. If Golovkin disposes of Alvarez with the ease that he has taken out everybody else then colour me impressed.

Make no mistake, I think GGG will win, just not by the blowout that folks are predicting.

 

Enigmadanks nailed it. CW's are for fighters in disparate weights. Not the same damn weight.

 

Floyd beat Canelo easily though. I gave Alvarez 2 rounds in that fight.

 

Resume aside, we're talking eye testing and footage only. What piece of evidence or footage suggests to you that canelo wouldn't be an easy fight for anyone? did you forget that Floyd played with him?

 

Am I the only one that doesn't consider Canelo an elite fighter? I just don't think he's easily beaten the top guys. He didn't destroy an old Cotto, got schooled by FMJ, and then barely got past Trout and Lara.

 

For boxing to become better, people have to understang losing doesn't mean ****.

Who cares if Canelo loses against GGG. He can move on and have other great fights for a lot of money. His career doesn't end there.

Pacquiao lost a bunch of time and he is still a fan favorite. So was Gatti.

 

Supposedly, Oscar didn't want Alvarez to fight Trout or Lara but those fights got made anyway. If Alvarez really wanted to fight Golovkin, the fight would be scheduled. lol at Oscar being some sort of Svengali that has complete mind control over Alvarez.

I don't think that Oscar has the control over his bottom b!tch like Iceberg Arum does but I agree with you. Why get his golden goose plucked now? Delay it as long as possible. Makes perfect business sense to me.
