So you literally are asking me to post videos, articles, and interviews to prove this to you. I dont feel like looking up all this info for you, do your own research. YouTube is a good place to start. Try Floyd calls out Oscar, Shane, Pac, and ever other fighter you claim he wont fight. Then watch the excuses to not fight Floyd flow

Was Floyd the money man in 2003, 04, 05? As a matter of fact he wasn't "Money" at all, he was Pretty Boy Floyd. You actually don't know your boxing history do you. I'm trying to educate you but you don't want to learn. Lesson #1 dont let emotion or nostalgia cloud your judgement of skill, talent, and ability. Also do your research before you argue with real boxing fans

I think you are just looking for attention young man. What if Mayweather was 43-4-1 (25) 1NC instead of 49-0 (26)? I'm not even getting into if I think he should have lost or had a draw or a No Contest vs. the likes of Castillo, DeLaHoya, Maidana, Pacquiao, Ortiz, or whoever... I'm just asking if it would matter to you if he had a few losses on his record?

    Imagine this-

everything you have seen regarding Mayweather's actual "in the ring" career remains the same. That's right, the actual action between the 1st and last bell of each fight is all the same... except for the scorecards. What would you say about Mayweather?

My point? Some of his fights were closer than you probably remember. Also, if the scorecards would have went the other way a few times I think people wouldn't hold him in such high regard. The fact that he never officially lost means more than it should.

His first big win was also his first world title, KO8 Genaro Hernandez in 1999. Hernandez had already been stopped by DeLaHoya (KO6) more than 3 years prior. After DeLaHoya he was lucky to get the SD vs. an old Azumah Nelson in 1997. His fight vs. Mayweather was his last.

Take away the win over Arturo Gatti (KO in the 8th) and Angel Manfredy's career wasn't very special. He beat past prime versions of Calvin Grove KO7, Wilson Rodriguez W12, and Jorge Paez KO8 prior to his fight with Mayweather (LKOby2).

Mayweather beat Corrales KO10. Corrales was a good fighter but he was struggling to make 130 at that point. I know he did fight 2 fights vs. Casamayor at 130 about 4 years later though... keep in mind that he won a questionable SD vs. Casamayor and was stopped by Casamayor (LKOby6). He also lost a SD to Casamayor when he weighed in at 139 for a 135 Lb. fight. He stopped Frietas KO10 and Castillo KO10 at 135, He was also stopped by Castillo LKOby4. Some people consider this Mayweather's best win!

Carlos Hernandez scored a knockdown vs. Mayweather and won 4 rounds. Hernandez was far from great.

I had Castillo winning 116-112 in their first fight. I had Mayweather winning 115-113 in their rematch. I thought Stevie Johnston looked better vs. Castillo almost 2 years prior.

I had Mayweather beating Judah 115-113 but felt it could have been 114-113 because Judah should have gotten credit for a knockdown. Either way, Mayweather still wins. Judah had already been stopped by Tszyu (LKOby2), won a SD over Corley, went 1-1 (1) vs. Spinks, and lost to Baldomir.

Anyway, I'm getting bored with this. I shall return though.

No doubting Floyd's ability. I think he would have mixed it with Fab4. Still, would have been nice to see him fight 2007 Cotto or 2008 Pacman.

Fab 4 arguably the greatest lightweight, welterweight, jr middleweight, and middleweight fighting each other. Floyd considered greatest superfeatherweight of all time, so no doubt what he's done is remarkable. But his opponents were pretty weak compared to the Fab 4's, skillwise, resume wise, or h2h wise. I honestly think Floyd wouldn't handle the generation after the Fab 4 which included Chavez, Curry, Norris, or Starling or even the one after that, which included a prime Delahoya, Mosley, or Forrest. Floyd got lucky to have fought in a weak era of welters where the majority were not even real welters like himself. His best wins are still against smaller or older fighters than himself.

The Fab 4 would very likely have spanked Mayweather and sent him packing. Tommy Hearns against PBF? :dead It would not have been pretty

Since his name was brought up, lets view SRL under the same scope of critisim as Mayweather! One can argue that SRL lost to a blown up lightweight in Duran, Arguably split fights with Hearns, lost to Hagler. Then goes on to act like a premadonna by asking for 2 belts in different divisions when fighting Donny Lalonde. Made Hagler wait for years and only fought him when he "saw" something that made him believe he could take Hagler. SRL admitted that much!

Hearns got beat every time he stepped up to the plate. Hagler never challenged himself and stayed at 160 and waited for the real warriors to move up and face him. I figured I would throw that in there to make things interesting.

Of course I don't believe 90% of that but, just trying to illutrate a point that people will critisise guys they don't like and will never give fighters their just dues. Such is the case with Mayweather!

FM goes 0-4 against the fab 4 and 0-5 if you want to throw the forgotten one Benitez in the mix.

I don't think it'd even have been possible.

There's literally no way he could have beaten Hearns in my opinion.

He'd have been in survival mode.

In all likelihood Floyd would have SD'd Tommy?

    You've got to be joking?

I could envisage Floyd beating Duran, but by stopping him? No chance.

Floyd would literally have had no chance against Tommy. None. Look at Tommy's size, reach and power.

Ray was getting outboxed and he had to change tactics and FIGHT Tommy.

Now on what planet would/could Floyd have FOUGHT Tommy toe to toe in the same manner?

    Impossible.

Floyd was a master boxer, not a fighter. He'd never have gone into the trenches with Tommy. He had neither the power or the heart needed to have done it.

How on earth could he have outboxed him? He couldn't.

He couldn't have outboxed him and he couldn't have out fought him.

There's no way he could have won. It would have just been a horrible match up for him stylistically.

I have no issue with anyone ranking Floyd higher than Tommy, but in an actual head to head fight, there could only have been one winner.

Floyd would have been covering up in survival mode. He wouldn't have done enough to have won the rounds.

In my opinion, it's just crazy for anyone to predict a win for Floyd.
