He put up every roadbblock but Pac walked away from negotiations, wanted a new stadium built, said no to testing and his cuts from JMM hadnt healed. It irks to see people question a boxers pride specially im the case of a guy who went up 5 divisions and rematched the fighters who gave him tough fights

This. Floyd is not ATG above 135. He knew it and picked his fights accordingly. 130 and 135 I have Floyd as the best all time

He always found a way to win? Yes, but against who? Nobody like Hearns.

It's not even a fair fight. Floyd was at his peak at the lower weights.

Why couldn't he have won? Because there's no way he could possibly have outboxed Hearns, Hearns being a great boxer at 6'1, with a 78" reach. Floyd's too small. He couldn't achieve something that Leonard was unable to do. It's crazy for anyone to think Floyd could have outboxed him. Then all you're left with is the theory that he could have out fought and stopped him. But how realistic is that, considering he had no power at WW and he takes a safety first approach?

It's illogical to even suggest that Floyd could have beaten him.

I really don't want to get into the whole Pac saga again. But just quickly, Manny didn't say no to testing, it was the cut off days they couldn't agree on. Again, nobody else had an issue fighting Manny back then, and there wasn't a shred of evidence of any wrongdoing. It's always the same: "Manny walked away from negotiations" No, Manny got on with his career after Floyd had refused his cut off request. Floyd never wanted the fight.

It's just laughable to suggest he'd have signed to fight a guy like Hearns at WW. In fact, it's absolutely hilarious.

You're talking like no one has ever beaten him.. I'm sure you would say the same thing about SRL if they never fought.. I don't know any guy from this era that would just walk through Floyd and make it look easy, but everyone from the 80s can? Well maybe.. I just don't see how it could be as easy as yall make it...

Yea, Hearns and Leonard were a lot better than any Welterweights from Floyd's era.

I'd still bet on Floyd for the UD, Hearns, Duran, Leonard were not even close to being unbeatable, At 147 Floyd would definitely have a chance to beat all 3, aint no superman in boxing, Floyd's reach, skills, defense, counterpunching, and IQ gives him a shot against welterweight in history

Really, the same Hearns who got KTFO multiple times, caved in by body punches, near death vs Hagler, no legs whatsoever, all offense and reluctant defense, that guy? Like I stated no where near unbeatable
