My guess is that Canelo is big enough in Mexico that they do not need to promote the fight as much over there. As I have said in a previous thread, my take is that the Khan fight is mostly to get Canelo's name in the European media in an attempt to "marinate" the GGG-Canelo fight.
I sure wish that Canelo would have dropped the belt immediately after the fighting Cotto if he had no intention of fulfilling his mando. I have the same opinion on Cotto's "Middleweight" run. Maybe the Canelo Kahn fight could have been for the vacant WBC 154 title? That would have served Canelo better I think.
A long time ago I used to post on world hip hop forums. I noticed that every person that used -Stan at the end of the name was a complete moron. It almost uncanny how the same holds true for this forum.
they are ducking each other. "i won't go down 5 pounds" "i won't go up 5 pounds" have you ALL like ....EVER heard such BUL.SH.I.T ???? on top of that...MILLIONS of dollars for ONE NIGHT'S WORK? FU.C.K em BOTH
so everybody back to their classroom and stfu! they are both so overrated at least canelo has a good record at 54 regardless if you think he lost to trout & lara he FOUGHT them this 155 bs, though...
In all fairness to GGG the belt is for the Middleweight which is at 160lbs !!! So there is absolutely no reason to ever have to negotiate a lower weight !!!! Especially when you consistently weigh 170 lbs the nights of all of your fights!!! So, please !!!
oh. is that so? wasnt he trolling mayweather for a fight at 54? cotto proved ( and SRL before him) that belts mean nothing pac made a career of draining fighters(then roiding to boot) now golovkin has found a niche to hide between ward and canelo big drama show
I was learning english at that time and it was cheaper than tutors. That was almost 12 years ago and the mentality did not change. atsch
Basically sums it up Canelo did walk into a **** situation Sturm ducked GGG then Geale dumped the WBA when he had unified two belts to not face GGG Martinez avoided GGG Cotto avoided GGG Canelo is getting dumped on because GGG is the clear best guy but is getting denied repeatedly If GGG fought half of the guys on this list of guys who dodged him when they were a champ or the lineal champ his resume would be so much better but people like to conveniently ignore it
There we go ^ :good Add Sturm, Martinez, Cotto and Canelo to Golovkin's resume and all of a sudden it looks badass.
