Khan will show speed and superb boxing skills right up to the point he gets KTFO.

Algieri is not a southpaw. Khan's chin is a magnet for left hooks and right hands from the orthodox stance.

Khan will survive about 3 rounds before they call in the janitor to sweep up the glass.

I don't know where people get the idea that Khan has superior boxing skills. He's got faster hands (maybe not anymore after the weight gain) and faster foot movement, but in terms of technical boxing skills, Canelo is better.

Khan is an amateur. He fights like an amateur. He gets in, throw some pittypat punches and get out and that's the extent of his boxing skills. Canelo is better in technique, like linking hard combinations together and defense using subtle head movement. Khan pulls straight back with his chin in the air.

People mistaken speed for skill all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if Khan gets knocked down in the first round with that chin in the air, pulling straight back defense.

This is a great point and one that gives Khan hope.

Canelo is by no means a pressure fighter. We all know Cotto's face is made entirely of scar tissue, and he left with barely a scrath on him. Did Canelo land a single shot in that fight you could confidently say would spark Khan? I'm not sure.

I think the main reason Khan is being written off is that nobody has any faith whatsoever that he's gonna fight smart.

Pretty sure we all thought Khan was gone for a moment...

Khan was picked for a reason. Canelo looked devastating as planned.

Maybe next time he'll fight someone in his weight class.
