ward was off an active stretch of tough opponents at the time...he needed a breather.......

ward was fresh and ready for ggg and ggg hasn't had any tough fights...it made perfect sense

ward told bute to go beat someone decent and hed fight him...and then bute, the bum, got wiped out in a place that andre dirrell dominated

This is why I cannot take you GGG and Ward fanboys serious. You have short memories who when their guy has done something debatable, they defend him no matter what. Maybe you're a man defender, but not me. Both of these guys GGG and Ward a full of ****, as are there fans.

 

But Bute was the ring number 1 168 if I'm not mistaken.

Golovkin is at 160 how does fighting a middleweight make more sense than unifying your division?

 

I think I made my point clear.....ward just went through the super 6..taking on a tough string of opponents....he won....he didn't feel the need, at that point, to take what many considered a tough fight right away.......he told bute to beat someone decent and theyd have a fight......its pretty simple...ward felt that he didn't want a tough fight coming off a tough tournament......the same way many fighters will take a light tough in between two tough fights

pretty simple concept to grasp if you ask me

Losing a fan will not hurt GGG. Ward losing a fan is 1/4 of his entire fan base.
