Yes. Also, the further back you go, the worse he loses. The old days were tough, man!

I don't agree. Floyd was a legitimate ATG and would have handled those guys with relative ease.

You got it wrong, Floyd beats everyone at 130 & normally starts losing if matched to lose vs rangier guys from the divisions above

Floyd vs guys from the 1800's would have been a massacre

    You're behaving like a child.

    I can't believe you've made this thread.

We're not allowed to say that some of the greats of the past would have beaten him?

    Sort yourself out.

    Seriously, how old are you?

You're getting all mardy and upset because people like me have said he couldn't have beaten the Fab Four?

That's not a criticism of Floyd.

Floyd is one of the greatest fighters to have ever lived.

It's just that he was at his peak at the lower weights, and most of The Fab Four were bigger and stronger than him and they peaked at the higher weights.

    Dear me.

    It's not a witch hunt.

Again, I think Roy Jones was better than Lennox Lewis, but I don't think he'd have beaten him in a fight.

I love Ray and Tommy, but I don't think they'd have beaten Roy at the higher weights.

    You need to relax.

We're not hating on Floyd, just by claiming bigger ATG's would have beaten him.

    :patsch

The fighters who Floyd fought in his era WERE NOT as good as the Fab Four.

You're really pi$$ing me off now.

Again, it's not hate, it's a logical breakdown of the size and the styles of the members of the Fab Four.

Why are you taking things so personal?

The greatest of all time went life and death with a very basic fighter.

Back in the 90's and earlier there were some very special fighters , its not that popular anymore .

Come on would Broner be a 4 weight world champion back then?

So now Floyd is too small to compete with the Fab 4? Yet every other thread they talk about how much bigger he is than Pac, Marquez, Hatton, etc...and how he drags up smaller men. So now he too small to compete with Duran, Leonard, or Hearns. So how big were the welterweights in the 80s again...did 147 weigh more then?
