Meh, if that's what they want to do, who gives a ****? She's not hurting you. Though I'm not sure it's a wise move, she'll get destroyed (I've not read up on this story but taking your word for it), the other way round troubles me as well for competitive reasons, I'm not sure it should be allowed to be honest, imagine if some male does it and then due to just being physically stronger finds success in the female divisions that he wouldn't otherwise be able to do in male ones and at the same time, also deny the acutal females their glory.. Seems rather unfair.

I can't see an assessment allowing her to fight as a man. I mean, I don't know how long hormone treatment and the like takes to have a meaningful effect, but assume it's quite a while.
From a career perspective she'd be better off postponing that stuff and just having the operation. Presumably she'd still be allowed to fight women in that case?

 

Go has had REAL issues with this since she was a child so I think she's decided enough was enough and finally put a time frame on the transition, wanting to do it whilst still young enough to enjoy life as a man, and maybe even fight as a man.

The assessment is probably to make sure of technical capabilities and the such. Could go through the same procedure as a novice professional and force a license test and the such, make sure they meet minumim physical capabilities.

If the surgery was postponed of course she'd still be able to fight as a woman, though I suspect "life" is more important than boxing.
