Do you think ATG fighters like Dempsey, Louis and Marciano would get outboxed by modern cuban technician fighters? Or would cubans get KTFO?

I would not put Marciano and Louis on the same level, Marciano is the most overrated fighter ever...

No it isn't. They didn't do anything differently back in the day. Fighters knew how to shift, feint, and cut off the ring perfectly. They even fought longer fights. There's only a handful of fighters now who know how to feint, cut off the ring, and use lead hands properly.

Oh and that little lead left hook that Floyd likes to use where he switches levels and feints an uppercut to the body then turns it to a left hook at the last minute.. Yea well Dempsey used that punch as well.

Name someone from that era who is considered an ATG that does that.

Ward or Kovalev beating Joe Louis? I like both fighters, but Ward went the distance with a guy like Barrera. Barrera was very predictable and easy to hit. Kovalev's best win was a 50 year old Hopkins, which isn't saying much. Marciano didn't go the distance with an old Joe Louis or Archie Moore. Louis also routinely beat people with twice the experience of either Kovalev or Ward. If Kovelev and Ward move to heavyweight and become champions than that's another story. I don't see them doing it, since Kovalev's power would be nonexistent at heavyweight. Marciano and Louis had no problem fighting bigger men.

I consider Ward the modern day Gene Tunney, and Floyd the modern day Joe Gans.

Did you just clump all cuban fighters together ??? You're claiming, massively ignorantly) that "cubans" are all equal in ability, you don't think it would be strictly on a fighter to fighter basis. Holy ****

Again, it's on a fighter to fighter basis.
Ortiz, the hw cuban would annihlate all 3 of them within a weekend. Hell, probably within a day. Why, ortiz is way more skilled, way faster and way bigger. But that means zero for other cubans.

Give me another cuban hw, ever, near ortiz in ability

Why don't you make a list of his abilities. I wouldn't bet on Louis or Dempsey but Marciano would have been able to take on anyone.

Ward is a light heavyweight, so he'd look a lot faster... and Roy jones fought with his hands down, so does mayweather, so does golovkin, and many other fighters. But of course a lightheavyweight would look sharper than a heavyweight.. Why don't you compare someone like Benny Leonard to Ward
