Anyone else amazed Duran didn't go to sleep after taking 100% flush Hearns right?

    Just watched that KO on youtube. That's arguably the most perfect punch I've ever seen from one of the hardest p4p punchers in boxing history.

    Perfect extension, lighting fast, never saw it coming. Absolute perfect punch.

    And it was a lightweight taking a 154 pound Hearns flush shot.

    Hard to believe Duran didn't even go to sleep after that. He moved around on the canvas. Incredible chin.

    He was literally and figuratively ktfo, out out out. If he wasn't ktfo, he had to of pulled a martin and QUIT,
    No ? Multiple quit acts is unforgivable

    You don't see guys who are out cold get to their knees almost immediately after hitting the canvas. Out cold is Martinez Williams. Lights off.

    No it wasn't a quit act. But he was not out cold. He couldn't stand up, but he was not sleeping.

    Vinny Pazienza once said after facing a 45 year old Duran, "Punching at Roberto Duran felt like trying to chop down a huge oak tree with just a small hand axe.
    This from a roided to the gills 168 lbs Vinny Pazienza.

    Hearns punching power was just unbelievable, plus he was so much bigger than Duran, Duran not in his best shape just had no way to get inside Hearns reach to nullify his punching power.
    Hearns just dropped missiles from way back, numerous of them, and still Roberto Duran didn't go to sleep like Pacquiao did vs Marquez.

    The second Duran's face hit the canvas, he's mobilizing himself trying to get up. :yikes

    Duran would never quit like Cotto. Most guys after going what through Duran did that night was have just said **** it and lay there on the canvas. But this guy is literally trying to get back up.
