You missed the sarcasm and indignation there? You even missed the reference to how Wade went down? On the shoulder and not even by an actual hit?

People here said he was a good amateur so I figured that he was. Like I said I never heard of him until the ggg fight was announced.

Thanks for clearing that up...i had never heard of the guy before the soliman fight...that fight coulda gone either way, but i gave wade a pass because i know soliman's style could be very awkward for some guys. i saw nothing in wade to suggest he was ever a top fighter at any level....he's got some good fundamentals, but clearly he has a losers mentality ....dude was too easy...looked resigned to lose when ggg started applying pressure.

I never heard or seen him before either. All I heard that he was #2 ranked behind T. Johnson.

id heard of him as an up and coming prospect who was quiet hyped, then he got beat by soliman and the hype died down.

mandatories are mandatories but ggg has serious problems getting fighters in the ring with him

canelo, jacobs, quillin, bjs etc dont want anything to do with him. thats why i always wanted andy lee to beat bjs saunders (not just because his irish ) but because lee would fight ggg, he would fight anybody

At the first KD, he was already looking for a nice place to lay down till the ref negotiated with him to get back up.

I agree Lee would fight him no doubt. Lee has power but would get stopped by ggg in the end.

    :deal

see, that's the thing that got me...the punch didn't LAND! so, i was like, "dude went down from THAT punch?...he REALLY that weak?" then they showed the replay and there was an uppercut before the right hand, but even that didn't seem like it was enough to drop him like that.... truth is, even the last right hand that ended the fight didn't seem to land clean. and the thing was, i had wade winning the first round up til the kd....then he fell apart. whatever way you look at this sport, it's FIGHTING...and mfkers gotta have some kind heart to get places in this sport. wade just don't have any heart...looked like he was half-asleep after the fight ended...yeah, i'm disgusted, i like to see a young brother believe in himself and dig down deep and go for the gusto. that's why i love floyd and hopkins and tyson and ward them...wade is a bum...

Yeah, clearly they picked the weakest, most passive, ineffectual dude...basically a bum, for a ggg showcase. reminds me of how they picked a used-up kirkland to make canelo look good..

ggg still won't fight lara, though...lets see if he takes on saunders or lee next. id' rather see that than tureano johnson, who fights like his feet are stuck in cement.

ya thats the likely outcome alright:good

for what its worth i think saunders is the hardest fight for ggg from 160 down

he is a good mover, has good defense,is slick ,can take a punch and has a good punch on him. in saying that he would get beat but its the fight i want to see, after canelo of course

You're probably right and I think Saunders will eventually fight him.
