How can anyone take ring rankings seriously when they don't have fury in the top 5 p4p. They don't even have him in the top 10 , but they have guys like Inoue(who I'm a huge fan of), Ward(who has done NOTHING recently), GGG(who has never beat anyone 1/1000 the talent of Wlad), Rigo(who has done NOTHING recently), Brook(who hasn't had a meaningful win since 2014) on there. At worst Fury should be #3 p4p after Chocolatito and Kovalev, he completely schools Rings #2 or #3 p4p and he's not worthy of being on their list? What did Fury do to **** the people off over there?

You dont think Fury is p4p? So tell me, what active boxer has a better win than a Wlad who was undefeated for 10 years.

39 and ranked #2, 3 p4p on THEIR list. He was still undefeated for 10+ years and was dominating his division. Tell me a win that anyone active has gotten recently that's even close to a win over Wlad?

Wlad had recently been dropped down quite a bit. And the reason he was there was for longlivity as well.

Fury hadn't been very impressive before it happened, and Wlad just looked his age.
Even if it was an excellent performance that got him the belt. They didn't put Douglas high up in the top10 after beating Mike did they?!

    Fury doesn't believe in p4p.

He mocked their ratings and the system.

I'm pretty sure Wlad was #2 or 3 when he fought Fury.
Wlad looked his age because of Fury's style. Floyd also looked his age in Maidana 1 due to Maidana's style. But if he fights Danny he'd school him all 12 rounds. It's crazy how people just make the excuse of Wlad looking his age and blame it all on his age.

Douglas wasn't put up there because a lot of people considered it a fluke, and Tyson wasn't almost breaking records for most title defenses now was he? If Fury knocked Wlad out in the second round or first round, I would also think about putting him on the p4p list, but Fury absolutely schooled the man all 12 rounds. This was no fluke, if Douglas was undefeated and beat all of his other opposition with ease, and toyed with Tyson and made him look like Wlad did against Fury, or Canelo did against Floyd he would have been ranked p4p.

Wlads age became a large issue after his performance in the Jennings fight. It wasn't some excuse people made in the Fury fight.

I agree but you can't base Wlad's aging off one bad night. I also thought Wlad looked bad against Jennings. But just a couple months before that he looked sensational against Pulev. That's like saying Thurman/Brook/Porter is not p4p if they beat Floyd after Maidana 1, after schooling Floyd for 12 rounds . Wlad is a gold medalist, and a guy that has never been outboxed in a loss. How many people predicted that Wlad would go out getting schooled basically 12-0?

Also Wlad was the CLEAR cut favorite against Fury.

I agree and I expect Fury to show up somewhere after another solid win.

He deserves to be there now. Most of Golovkin's wins are no better than Chisora or Cunningham, Ward and Rigo have done NOTHING recently why are they still on the list? Inoue is a beast, but really he should not be up there, even though what he's doing at his age is amazing. What has Brook done since 2014? If we're making a p4p list based of "what have you done lately in this sport", Fury should be ahead of them.
