well...ill give it to ggg....at least hes being somewhat consistent now although loeffler just said the other day ramirez was something they were looking at.....so still little consitency between the promoter, fighter and trainer......but at least what ggg said jives with the whole "only big fights" comment
w Wade was a mandatory. You should be glad to see Golovkin fight as he's one of the few fighters who fight more than once a year.
Cannot believe people are hating on a man for wanting all the belts in his respective division. Suddenly Ramirez is the man Golovkin is allegedly ducking, lol.
It proves how good Golovkin is that the haters want him to move up to a division in this case 168 which is just as talented as the current 160. I'd rather see him fight Saunders, Jacobs, Canelo and only then move up.
They are trying to set up a big PPV no matter how good GGG is or isn't. GGG is a smug all hype, no defense hard hitter who has people afraid to stand in and fight him. The hype is enormas. GGG needs a real opponent who smacks his Ukrainian grin off his mutton face !
Golovkin wants to fight three-four times a year (1). He has also stated he will go 154 for Floyd and floyd only (2). He will take a fight against 168 pounder if money is right (Froch, Chavez jr.)(3), and he has stated he will MOVE to 168 when he is done at 160 (4). And he has stated he is willing to fight anyone from 154-168, anyone (5). Quite consistent to me. And it doesn´t mean he wont take Zurdo next - if he has trouble to get any MW to face him. But that is consistent with the statement (1). This is as consistent as Ward statement that he need three tune up fight before facing Golovkin/kovalev - at the moment he has two and one more to go
