You think Povetkin is a top 2 heavyweight?

If he was going go drop he'd have faced the bum Martin. I bet that was a discussed option.

Povetkin Number #2, No chance, not even close.

Klitschko and Fury? I'd even put Joshua ahead of Povetkin and maybe Ortiz.

This is the first time in Wilders career he is facing a top 5 heavyweight and so now he deserves our respect and he has proved people wrong?

    We've had

    Stiverne
    Eric Molina
    Duhaupas
    Szpilka

Are we meant to be impressed?

Wilder has had 36 professional fights, this will be his 5th world title fight and he is just now facing his highest ranked opponent and people ask why Wilder gets ridiculed.

Malik Scott was ranked top ten when Wilder fought him.

Chisora had already stopped Malik Scott and I don't think Scott was top 10 when he fought Chisora.

H2H, no.. But as it stands in terms of accomplishment, yes. If Wilder beats him, he's the #2 guy, then hopefully Fury somewhere on the horizon to prove who's the king.

he'd just been stopped by Derek Chisora and his record suggested he couldn't punch the fluff off a cappuccino, top 10 where?

Povetkin is a top 5 without a doubt, I would say the #2 behind Fury. (Klitschko is shot. Ortiz still needs more wins for me. Joshua could be great, but he has yet to step in the ring with a live body.)

Stiverne was a top 5 when Wilder beat him, now he's a top 10.

Scott, Szpilka, and Duhaupas are all top 20s.

I'm happy with Wilder right now. Wilder did need to make sure he stepped up again after fighting a few lower guys post-Stiverne, but he did just that. He couldn't aim any higher than Povetkin in my book -- aside from challenging Fury or Klitschko, who are tied up at the moment.

Anyway, I'm calling it right now: It will be Wilder v Stiverne 2.0. Wilder wins. Povetkin is just too small (he looked terrible against Wach, who is Godawful himself) and doesn't employ head movement (the only thing that troubles Wilder). I just pray he doesn't get cheated in Russia.

How hopefully you will be man enough to comeback on the night of the 21 to congratulate Wilder. However, I suspect that you will bytch out and move the goal post.

They did agree to VADA testing weeks ago. Why did Wilder wait until 5 weeks notice to sign the contract?

In his defense, there's a lot of things he doesn't understand.
