Which middleweight in history could go 10-12 rounds with GGG that includes them takin

The HOF has some fighters that never beat another HOF fighter, and if you look at the wins closely most of the time it happened with the other guy was outside of his prime.

 

Has nobody spotted a potential weakness in Golovkin?

I wouldn't label the G fight with the rest. One involved blatant fouls that contributed to the sad affair that night. It was horrendous and a travesty.

 

I don't understand what you're saying here. Are you saying level of competition doesn't matter? That seems blatantly bias and false. Do you think if SRR had fought a bunch of tomato cans he'd look unbeatable? You don't think fighting better guys can make you look worse? What the hell are you saying here?

 

I watched the entire Benetiz vs Duran fight recently. I was surprised how much Benetiz worked Duran's body...and it definitely affected Duran.....Benetiz clearly won the fight. GGG would use the same strategy.

 

GGG is excellent...maybe even a great. But this is a weak era at middle.IMO

 

Some naysayers of GGG have no reasoning powers or imagination. Zilch..

How can he be great if all the fighters he KOD have not been stellar, they utter?
Well is this his fault ? NO.
He has utterly outclassed all his opponents thus far in spectacular fashion.
It is not his fault that he was born when he was.
Imagine if a Marvin Hagler was born about 30 years ago, came to America and fought the very same fighters that GGG fought...Would we NOT be saying the very same things about Hagler that many say about triple G on this forum ?

Golovkin fits that description. And what I see in him is a rare specimen of a fighter who would fit into any great era of middleweights in history...He can not be blamed for the time of his birth. He can only be held accountable to what he has accomplished against his contemporaries of today, and who is to say
that the great MWs of yesterday could have been mre impressive than GGG
were they fighting today ? The man is good. Nay GREAT..Give him his due. He has earned it...

 

But it's the truth. Is he still seen as an unstoppable h2h force? Or do people now say if Benn could beat him, others could.

My point is plenty have looked unbeatable against a lower level of opponent.

Lamotta...GGG likes to be the stronger man in control and doesn't like pressure.
1. Lamotta would throw his game off as he wouldn't be scared of GGG. Ending the "GGG effect" of people being scared of his "inhuman power".
2. His nonstop onslaught and endless barage of punches would keep GGG of balance and discouraged as Lamotta would land a conisderable amount due to GGG's lack of defense.
