I'd be surprised if this show didn't do 1 million viewers, that's like the average for HBO. Showtime lately has only been getting 300k (Anthony Joshua vs Martin only got 317k peak), they must've had a subscriber drop in the last year or two.

If GGG gets less than the recent Ward fight, I do believe that would be a big indication that the quality of opposition wasn't up to snuff for GGG. Ward was perceived as fighting a live dog, not a mismatch like 3G. HBO has the muscle to demand better opposition they should do so.

Who cares? I watched GGG because I am a boxing fan, but I can see why people would pick Jones over him. Jones is a one of a kind true legend of mma and G is not on his level yet. Still, a MIL against a no hoper is respectable.

Jon Jones doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as GGG. People complain about the lack of talent at 160 but that 160 division has deeper talent pool than the entire UFC. The division in which Jon Jones fights used to be ruled by a joke like Tito Ortiz and a bar brawler Chuck Lidell. Do you honestly think these two would have gotten anywhere in a real sport like boxing?

Jones looks like **** after the stricter testing in the UFC took place, he can't use his roids anymore.

As an athlete, Jon Jones is a poor man's Wilder who fights against shorter people at the MMA equivalent of cruiserweight.

Dude Jones has beat guy in his division at their own game. GGG knocking out smaller men with far less talent than Jones resume you DUMMY. For a non racist and non bias poster you have **** to say about every non white fighter in every combat sport.

It's like 10 bucks a month. Not very expensive if its important to the subscriber. That said, it wasn't bad considering the awful bum he fought.

And that's about what most fighters strive to achieve first.

If this is at all true, probably more to do with the fact that this mandatory fight was against a lamb thrown to the wolf. Wait till he faces someone it's clear will make him work for his win, like Alvarez.

At this stage any claim at viewing figures is pure speculation they don't usually come up with official viewing figures this soon.

I'd be surprised if it was less than a million, more likely somewhere between 1.3 to 1.5 million based on Golovkin's previous fights.
