Far more reasons for GGG to fight Canelo at 155 than not...

I'm not having the same debate across 2 threads.

    I'll leave you to it.

MW limit is 160. It's a unification fight. Don't be an idiot on multiple threads at once.

  3. Sounds more like you are the fanboy knowing Canelo is pulling BS and supporting it. If you were a fan of this sport you would acknowledge the fact that GGG is the mandatory and the will happen at 160 unless the red headed step child ducks.

I personally care more about the best fighting the best more so than a top fighter obeying the rules of a very corrupt organization and watching said fighter fight overmatched opponent after overmatched opponent.

  5. You are contradicting yourself. If Canelo wasn't trying to change the rules of the game this fight would be scheduled. I see Gennady calling out Canelo at every turn. So clearly HE IS chasing the best his division has to offer.

if canelo dumps the belt...there is no fight...and then theres ggg fighting more bum mandos if bjs or jacobs dont fight him....the wbc belt already has garbage at the top of their rankings

canelo isnt trying to change anything that hasnt been done in front of him....belt was defended 3x in a row at a cw before he took it.....

of course gennady is calling out canelo...hes calling out a guy with 0 fights at the full limit....he isnt calling out ward or zurdo though is he? is he calling out degale?

Canelo isn't changing anything. The WBC title has been fought at under 160 at least 3 times now.

Canelo can vacate and a true fan would rather see Canelo vs GGG regardless.. A GGG fanboy appears to rather see GGG fight another overmatched contender for the vacant title.

  8. Actually I would have rather seen him face Martinez,Sturm,Quillen,Lee,Cotto,BJS but nothing he can do when guys are terrified of getting knocked out.

  9. Such short memory. I do believe Cotto was **** on over catch weights also.

  10. You are all about the best facing the best huh? So why is Canelo dragging Khan up? I assume you don't support that fight?

I don't like it, but if any active fighter between 140-168 deserves a cherry pick right now its Canelo who has consistantly fought top opposition.

GGG on the other hand is getting pretty pathetic with his low quality opposition.

I would have given GGG much more respect had he dragged up Lara for his last fight instead of fighting Demetruis Wade.

Canelo will be stripped of the MW belt for cowardice.
GGG is doing thr right thing.
Sticking by the principles and not being intimidated.
He is already making plenty of money .
And he will be making plenty more.

I have a feeling they're building GGG up into a global wrecking ball before the big fights happen. Last year none of my casual friends had ever head of him, now all of a sudden people are aware of the name. Tie that in with the recent Jordan signing, the constant Twitter promoting and his recent change from Mr Nice guy into more of a light trash talker and you can see where they're going with this one.

Why the f*ck would he be calling out SMW's and LHW's, when he's got ambitions to unify the MW division and he's scheduled to fight Canelo next?

    You guys are something else.
