Hearn in the states discussing terms for a Brook Vargas unification fight.

Can't say I'm surprised at all, this was always the most likely scenario.

I'm not over the moon that Brook will be fighting a guy who won the WBO belt because Bradley fought Pacquiao. Similar with the Joshua Fury situation.

Can't blame Brook for taking this option as its a unification fight but I'm really not over the moon with Vargas as an opponent tbh if this is what we end up getting

Jessie's more patient methodical style with his new emphasis on power punching, an upset is very possible here.

Hard to really say. I haven't seen it in absolutely forever, but didn't Brook struggle with Carson's pressure? He was also hurt against Senchenko.

Vargas has looked a lot better at welterweight than he did at light welterweight. This could end up being a win for Vargas.

If it happens in the states, I got Jessie by UD.

This is a good fight. Can't criticize anyone for making this.

It serves them both right at this point. If Thurman wins vs Porter, it should be a great unification in early 2017. Then they will have to square it off with Spence. This'd be a pretty cool roadmap.

Good fight for kell.. Considering they couldn't get cotto or Bradley for this summer, Vargas in a unification would be great.

Wondering if hearn is giving vargas a big offer to come to the UK or if the fight is in the States.

He should to raise his profile in the states so he can get these big fights.....

BUT he won't. Eddie makes more money here and Brook IMO is pretty comfortable fighting the level of opposition like Vargas.

Brooks fought in the states once in recent times and that was because he had to, as a mandatory for the belt.

His lack of ambition to be a global superstar and have the super fights, suggest to me he won't be travelling any time soon

you also have to factor in that brook also makes more money here and vargas isnt a huge name in america so the fight will generate more money in the uk you'd assume. All partys involved probably want it in the uk because it'l be on PPV and in america it won't

so the fights makes more money in the UK, The fighters get paid more to have the fight in the UK but you think they should say "hey guys, lets not make money and instead lets get make less and hold this fight in the USA"

why does it matter if the fight is in the UK as long as the fight is happening.

Kell Brook beating Vargas in the UK and becoming unified champion will make noise.

Lets hope VADA isn't used or Jessie is going to get caught.
