And no Froch wasn't a 'fake' champion. He didn't win any of his belts against as poor as Charles Martin, who I think we can agree is the boxing equivalent of a lottery winner. I say that as someone who found Carl immensely aggravating.

Fought more or less everyone there was around and came up short against Ward who was the numero uno.

AJ and his buddy Hearn on the other hand are counting there lucky stars Fury came along and unlocked the belts. AJ has come along and fair play to him, took advantage of the situation and beat a poor title holder who in my opinion basically came over here to lie down.

For all those years Wlad was champ you didn't see him being stripped, it's laughable.

Not at all, it's a stretch to call Joshua a champion right now because he hasn't really beat a champion to get his belt and the guy who he did beat won it in a vacant bout.

Froch beat plenty of champions and fought a who's who in the division. If AJ goes on to fight Fury, Wilder, Klitschko and Haye, win or lose, then we can start making comparisons.

Neither is a fraud.

 

As much as I'm sure the forum enjoys reading your mealy mouthed responses I think everyone would appreciate it if you could at least pretend to discuss the matter at hand.

This is a boxing forum, not a self help portal for you to deal with your phobia of little men so to answer your first question - AJ might turn out to be a better champion than Froch in the sense that he might be the bona fide number one in his division at some point which Carl never was.

At the moment though, he's won one title with no lineage off of one of the worst belt holders in heavyweight history. Hardly comparable with the achievements of Mr. Froch.
