Let's be honest, Pacquiao was Floyds toughest fight

Pac was easier to hug and run from than Maidana. So no! i'd say Cotto and Maidana were tougher simply because they had good inside games. Rough up Void on the ropes. An inside game is what Pac lacks the ability to stay in the pocket and do damage.

 

No. But Floyd was extremely cautions vs Pac and his performance was not at all good. Where as for example Cotto landed more on Floyd, but also took a lot of leather from Floyd, much, much more than Pac. Both Pac and Floyd were virtually spotless after the fight.

Judah a tougher fight? Judah got landed on easily after a few rounds. Augustus took a lot of shots and Corley too.

Maidana was probably Floyd's toughest fight. He manhandled him. Castillo came closer to winning but didn't do much to Floyd, but neither did Floyd to him.

 

Maidana 1 and Castillo 1. Both guys really got that ribcage.

It was. Floyd hardly ever punches in that fight. He used that long distance scary jab that Pacquiao was picking off with his gloves. Its a shame watching a much bigger man run from a midget. :rofl

 

Yeah they were but Pacquiao was a midget that has been KTFO 2 fights before. Floyd should of stopped a man like that. But he didn't.

Floyd hardly moved in those fights. In this fight he moved a lot and avoided all close combat. Floyd threw a lot of jabs but they were not all that effective and many were blocked. They were effective in keeping Pacquiao away but Floyd never followed up with anything eye catching. It was a dull fight.

 

Those head snapping right hands that sent Mosley and Canelos heads back were just about missing against Pacquiao. Floyd was so cautious to stay his distance that when he went to throw a right he had to over extend and end up off balance.

 

I think you mean he was chased all over the ring and nearly out of it by both fighters. Pacquiao never had a great ability to cut off the ring and his speed was countered by mayweathers own quickness.

Against Pacquiao it was easier to run the clock down. I think Floyd keeps time during the round and knows when he wants to pick his spots. You don't want to bore a judge for more than 20-25 seconds.

Maidana in their first match I felt was a really awkward and
tough style for Floyd to deal with. It was really dirty, rough and
a constant barrage of pressure from Chino.

In their second match however, Floyd for sure adjusted well and successfully utilized more lateral movement off the ropes and boxed better. He didn't allow Maidana to cut off the ring on him or rough him up as much as their first meeting.

 

He also held on a lot more in the 2nd Maidana fight. That was the difference really. All that holding tired Chino out and ran the clock down. Maidana wasn't 100% in the rematch. He just wanted that check and to back to Argentina and get fat.

 

They've been crying over this for an entire year. Most devastating loss in boxing history.

 

In the first fight Maidana did, but in the second fight he caught Floyd at the end of round three, that definitely shook him up. I would have loved to see what would have happen if that was the beginning of the round. He still did more than Pac. Every fighter I name did more than Pac. Whether they faded or not. Pac did completely nothing.
