Maybe the box contained food, and the guy was throwing it at Ortiz to feed him because he knew Victor wasn't gonna get any more paydays after this quit job.

 

Ortiz is an idiot. After the fight he is cupping his ears asking the crowd to cheer louder as if he had won and they actually booed him . In the post fight conference he seems delusional almost like he's cool with getting beat up again.
